Стекируемые управляемые коммутаторы NETGEAR GSM7228PS и GSM7252PS с PoE позволяют максимально гибко и просто развернуть инфраструктуру Gigabit Power over Ethernet. Все 24 и 48 портов интерфейсов 10/100/1000 Mbps поддерживают стандарт 802.3af PoE и обеспечивают питание подключенного к ним оборудования суммарной мощностью 384 Ватт. Первые 8 портов поддерживают стандарт 802.3at PoE+ и обеспечивают 30 Ватт мощности на порт. Четыре гигабитных интерфейса SFP обеспечивают опцию подключения по оптике для соединения по Gigabit Ethernet на большие расстояния. Два встроенных интерфейса 10 Gigabit Ethernet SFP+ на передней панели предназначены для сетевого подключения uplink или подсоединения серверов и систем хранения, а два модульных отсека 10 Gigabit обеспечивают как uplink, так и локальное/удаленное стекирование для реализации разных вариантов построения 10-гигабитной инфраструктуры.
