Механизированное управление шторами на окнах позволяет изменять количество попадающего в помещение солнечного света, снижая зависимость от дорогостоящего электрического освещения. Системы использования дневного света способны уменьшать яркость находящихся около окон осветительных приборов или отключать их при достаточном уровне естественного освещения. А закрытие штор летом и открытие зимой позволяет снизить затраты на управление климатом в помещении.
